This box under our Christmas tree was something that I wanted to try. Our tree was a little short and this worked great! (There are a couple of cynder blocks in the bottom to add height and to keep the tree stable.) Maybe I can use it as a planter later?
The closet shelving is a project that Sean and I did together this weekend. His floor was covered with shoes and hunting and sports gear. I mentioned that we could put his closet to better use by building up...well, he was listening and I got him hooked...before we knew it, we were sketching plans and on our way to Home Depot to pick up some supplies! We had so much fun working together. Great bonding time, I highly recommend it! It is so fun to feel like you accomplished something together! (And I am so excited that we made something so big! I know, cheezy!) Now, we just have to paint it! ugh.
This last picture is of a book shelf that I made for Ridge. I saw one in a magazine and didn't want to pay $39 so I decided to try to build one. It was so easy and it works great! ...and hey, I only sell them for $38! (Just kidding!)
