Haunted Houses

This is our new favorite project. We made these haunted houses from CapriSun and Ritz Cracker boxes. Notice the little mailboxes Carly added in front of each house!
The pumpkins and ghosts are made from salt dough. The tree is just some branches in a candle holder topped with moss and bats. The letter and sillhouettes are from http://www.designfreebies.blogspot.com/. We had a lot of fun with this one! (And best of all...it was free, made from what we had!)

My kids were on Fall break this week, so we celebrated with a few days at Grandma and Grandpa's house with some of the cousins. We had a little fall celebration and made some haunted houses and jumped on the trampoline, played in the rocks and played soccer. We had a blast. Here are the kids with their own creations!

These are so cute. I'm very impressed with the creativity here.
To think I have been throwing away all my capri sun boxes. The good news is that kevy drinks enough capri sun, I'll have a full neighbourhood by the 31st!

CUTE! I feel like everytime I comment on your blog that is what I am saying! You need to submit those to Family Fun or something, they are so cute and professional looking!

these houses are super cute. I figure if you did them with your kids, then I could probably do them with mine? so-did you make the roofs out of the cardboard from the cracker boxes, or is it paper? Also-it looks like you are pretty handy with the salt doough. WOuld you mind sharing your recipe and tips that work for you? I love the vintage pumkins and my girls are out of school on friday-this is a perfect project! REally enjoy your blog and ideas, i will be back!
