Life's been a party lately! My sister Keri and her family were here for a week while her hubby, Justin went to Alaska for work. (Poor guy!) While he was off in the wilderness, we were having one party after another! Happy Birthday to our soon to be sister in law, Robin! Spencer baked a cake for the kids to decorate and they used just about every sprinkle Grandma had in the house...all on one cake! Yum!We played at the park, in the dirt, on the trampoline and ended the week at Grandma and Grandpa's for a bbq, swim and an impromptu birthday party for Ridge! Spencer and Robin bought some fun pool toys and the kids had a blast...and by kids, I'm including Spencer, Robin and Hayden! They had the little ones all riled up!
If you look closely at Ridge's cake, you'll see it's not really a cake at all. The kids had eaten so much sweets, and I was a little too inpatient to wait for a cake to bake, so we iced a box and covered it with Reeces Pieces and let the kids lick the icing off! I think it turned out pretty fun...and amazingly, it wasn't that messy! (Chelsea, I've got a long way to go to catch up with your fab. cake skills!)

That cake is hilarious! So many less calories though! I love the picture of dad. My favorite of him in a long time! Love you sis!
that looks like a lot of fun! I'm needing a pool day so badly so we'll have to go to the villages soon! and don't feel bad about your box cake. i think it's cute... but if you ever need one just let me know and i'll totally hook you up!
FUN! All I can say is that I want to be adopted into the Liljenquist family! (Did I spell it right?) I LOVE the frosted box idea! That's all my kids eat anyway and I would save a lot of money that way :)
Tell Ridge happy birthday from us!

looks like you guys are having fun and staying cool in this heat! and i love that driftwood project you posted about- how fun!
I love it! It looks like SO much fun and makes me sad that I'm not closer to family! I love the picture of Sean....he looks like he's having WAY too much fun! HA HA! Your family is SO cute!
Lisa and Sean! Holy cow! It's been a long time, eh? Your kids (and nephews) are beyond adorable. I hope all the Liljenquists don't mind, but I've now put links on my blog to all of yours! It's so fun to "see" all of you. It will be nice to keep in touch, even if it's only passively reading blogs. What a beautiful family you Riemans have.
Love,
Melody (Harrison--but not related to K's husband! :) ) Feist
I love the way you found us! Small world isn't it!? We were just in AZ for Memorial weekend camping, fishing and riding horses up north. Sure do miss AZ but we are having a blast in TX. Email me so we can invite you to our blog (Tony made me make it private--computer nerds...) kmarzetta@gmail.com

Hey Lisa! I just read your post about having to spank your son during bedtime. Hilarious! We went through (and still are) the same thing with Tyler. He even has asked for a spanking before! Funny kids!
Hey Lisa-
I teach preschool with my mom out of her home in Cobblestone Farms. I used to teach out of my home until Ryan came along and I needed to move Leah out of the nursery and into what used to be my classroom! I love teaching preschool! If you know of anyone looking for preschool, send them to my website:

talk to you later-

Hi Lisa, I passed your comment on to Kellie and don't feel weird about asking. I'm happy to help. It looks like everyone had a great time at the party!
Thats what I call fun. Lisa does it remind you of growing up with all your Idaho cousins. Kelly looks great always miss your mom and him. We'll get to see them in a few weeks I'm so excited even if its only for a little bit of time
Hey Robyn, Yes, happily it does remind me growing up with all my cousins. I have always wanted my kids to be able to experience what I had. It's just how I imagined life to be and I am very grateful. Doesn't having a family make life beautiful!
I Love you, Lisa
That all looks like so much fun! Great pictures! It's nice to enjoy such a close family.
