Tonight, after putting our 2 year old son to bed TEN times...no joking...he came back into our room. I sent him back to bed but he just stood there babbling at me and pointing at all the important things he really needed to talk to me about.
"Mom, what is this?" he said, pointing at my shoe. "What's your name?" "Is this your belt?" "Why is this your shirt?" Between all of these questions, I would answer him and then add, "Now, go to BED!" Finally, I said, "Go to bed or I'm going to spank you!"
Do you know how my two year old responded?
He laughed and said, "I want spankins!" I had to ask him to repeat himself because I couldn't believe my ears! When he repeated his answer with a grin, I had to follow through, so I swatted him twice on his rear, and then... he LAUGHED AT ME! My two year old LAUGHED AT ME while being disciplined!
(Sean and I were so shocked. I know this sent the wrong message, but we couldn't help it. We laughed so hard we cried...but we were both thinking...Ohhh man, we're in BIG trouble!)

Oh my goodness -- the bookshelf turned out SOOOOO cute! You are so talented, wow! I love it! You should teach an enrichment on how to make those because I totally want one, lol! And after you posted that comment on my page I just laughed so hard, hahaha! You were right -- I DID match my blog ... how funny is THAT?! lol. Anyway -- so I just got back from the doctor with Sterling and he's come down with some virus so he's been laying on the couch for the last two days (that's when you know they're sick, right, lol!) Anyway, I don't think we'll be able to make the park tomorrow with you guys unless he's just doing a ton better. The doc said it would probably get worse over the next couple of days and then uphill from there. So I'm totally bummed. We'd like to come next week, though, if that works. Are you going to be there next week? Take care :D
That is so funny. Cooper is NOT spending time with Ty anymore, cause I think he's picking up all Ty's habits! J.K. Love ya sis!
